General:

  • Winter Formal tickets are on sale in the quad for $40. By early and save money.  Prices increase $5 each week.  
  • Hey freshman, it’s your time to be a leader. Come to room 64 at lunch to pick up forms for freshman class representative. 
  • If you are interested in the 2019 summer trip to Costa Rica with Laz & Hochler you can still sign up by today and receive a discount. Don't wait till it’s too late.

Clubs: The following clubs meet today during lunch.

  • Ghost Hunters Alliance in room 31.
  • Creative Society.
  • Design in room 45. We will discuss upcoming club congress and to design solution to repair and restore a giant zoetrope.
  • Women’s Honor Society in room 81.  Sweatshirt money is due to Ms. Pendell by today. Also, bring in your donations.
  • Club Congress meeting on Monday, November 26th at lunch in room 64.

Seniors:

  • The Santa Cruz High School Scholarship application is available! See Lauren in the Main Office for your application. All applications are due by Friday, December 7th!

Faculty:

  • Faculty book club will meet in the library after school today to discuss Santa Cruz Noir. The editor, Susie Bright, will be joining us. Hope you can attend!

  • Don’t forget that the 2019 yearbook is using augmented reality to add video to the yearbook. We need your video clips.  Please email your video to the yearbook advisor at swilson@sccs.net for drop by room 45.
  • Hey Link Crew, did you meet your challenge?  Come tell us about it at lunch tomorrow in room 64.

  • Santa Cruz High’s Talent Show is coming up on November 16th! If you would like to audition to be part of the show sign up on the choir room door. Auditions are after school today.
  • Hey freshman, it’s your time to be a leader. Come to room 64 at lunch to pick up forms for freshman class representative. 
  • It’s National Native American Heritage Month. As we anticipate the upcoming holiday, remember the contributions made by indigenous people. Come check out the library display! #decolonizethanksgiving
  • Don’t forget that the 2019 yearbook is using augmented reality to add video to the yearbook. We need your video clips.  Please email your video to the yearbook advisor at swilson@sccs.net for drop by room 45.
  • We have a three-day weekend coming up! Do you have a good book to read?  This long weekend and the upcoming holidays will be the perfect time to enjoy a self-selected book you can read for pleasure. 
  •  Come check out a book from our library, or pick a book from the free-book cart to take home!  
  • If you received a green detention slip you will report to room 56 at lunch today. If you do not serve your detention, it will turn into a Saturday School.

  • We can’t beleaf how thankful we are this November! What are you grateful for? Submit a leaf for the library’s gratitude tree and tell us.

Seniors:
  • Make sure you have ordered your cap and gown at Jostens.com. Orders are due November 30th. See Lauren in the main office for any questions.

College Rep Visits:  

Come to counseling for a pass to attend and check for other upcoming visits.

 

Sports:

  • All football equipment and uniforms need to be turned in this week.  Everything should be washed and placed in your travel bag. Turn it in to Coach Bubba during 4th period or after school.
