General:

  • The counselors are referring students for summer school. If you need to make-up credits for a class, please see your counselor.
  • Students who are signed up to take the AP Environmental Science test. Study session today at lunch. The last study session is Friday the 28th at lunch. Come prepared to go over past year AP tests, topics from the textbook that might need further discussion, and the tests that you took during the semester. It is your chance to brush up on any important topics that might arise on the AP test on May 1st. All study sessions are in Ms. Falls' room, room 22.
  • Congratulations to Niko Workman for being selected as a finalist in a worldwide photography contest! His photo was chosen out of 13,000 other entries!
  • Library closed second period today.

 Clubs: The following club meet today at lunch:

  • LSU in room 65.
  • Math in room 11.
  • Fashion in room 85.
  • Psychology in room 62.

     Seniors:

  • Santa Cruz Alumni Association scholarship applications are due this Friday April 28th! Turn in your applications to Lauren as soon as possible.

  • Need community service hours?The next Teen Peer Court today at the Santa Cruz County Courthouse. See flyer outside main office for more information.
  • Students who are signed up to take the AP Environmental Science test. There are a few review and study sessions coming up. This Friday (the 21st) at lunch, is the first one. There will be a two hour study session on Sunday April 23 from 4pm-6pm. Ms. Falls will bring snacks.  Finally, the last study session is Friday the 28th at lunch. Come prepared to go over past year AP tests, topics from the textbook that might need further discussion, and the tests that you took during the semester. It is your chance to brush up on any important topics that might arise on the AP test on May 1st. All study sessions are in Ms. Falls' room, room 22.
  • La Posada is hiring. Starting was $12.50 per hour. See flyer outside main office for more information.
  • All students taking an AP Test, there will be a mandatory pre-administration session this Friday, April 21st, at 11:00 am in the auditorium.

  • Ducky Derby student volunteers needed. Event is Saturday, April 22nd at Harvey West Park. Deadline to sign up is Friday, April 14th. Sign-up sheet in the counseling office.

  • Cabrillo College is collaborating with the Air Force Association’s Cyber Patriot Program this summer to offer a free 1-week Cyber Camp to students entering 9-12th grade this fall. Come to counseling for more information.
