  • Clean Oceans in room 83.
  • Circle of Friends in room 64.
  • Santa Cruz Bridge Education Foundation who will be teaching a beginning bridge class on Fridays in the library during 4th period beginning this Friday, March 13th.  Many colleges and universities field bridge teams and the American Contract Bridge League sponsors youth teams who compete in order to advance to competition in nationwide events, all expenses paid.  Bridge develops critical thinking skills in making logical inferences and working with probabilities. We're excited to offer this opportunity in the library!  All with an open 4th period are welcome. Ask Veronica if you have any questions

  • Football rings will be delivered Friday, March 20th. Make sure to finalize all your payments or Jostens won’t release your ring or sweatshirt to you.

  • Congratulations to Greta Gustafson and Maya Letona who wrestled in the California state Championships last Thursday through Saturday. Greta placed 7th and Maya placed 2nd. 
  • Congrats to the girls’ soccer team on their CCS Championship.They play Christian Brothers of Sacramento tomorrow at 5 pm at home.First round of Northern California Championships. Come out and support the girls’ soccer team.
  • Boys’ basketball advances to the Nor Cal Tournament and will travel to San Francisco tomorrow to play Stuart Hall at 7 pm.

  • Congrats to the boys’ basketball team on their CCS semi-final upset over Palma last night. Also, congrats to Maya Letona and Greta Gustafson who both went 2-0 on the first day of state championships for wrestling.
  • Tomorrow is championship Saturday. Girls’ soccer, boys’ basketball and our two lady wrestlers will all be hunting titles.Good luck Cardinals.

  • Morrison, Baldwin, Hurston, Ellison, Angelou, Hughes… we celebrate these and many other notable African American authors! But for this year’s Black History Month we have displayed some new, contemporary authors: Alexander, Whitehead, Reynolds, Thomas, Woodson, Coates … Come check out these books by popular Black authors writing now!

  • Girls basketball CCS home game, tonight, 7:00pm. Girls Varsity team placed 3rd overall in CCS Academic award. Coach Trowbridge is very proud of them for both making into CCS, but more so keeping their grades up and winning the academic award as well.
  • Boys basketball CCS home game, Tuesday, February 25 at 7:00pm.
  • Boys and girls wrestling championships begin tomorrow, February 21.
    • We wish them all luck as they continue in their tournaments.
  • Softball early out at 1:45.
