The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) periodically reviews schools to determine if the schools provide a program which supports student achievement. The accreditation is based on a school report that reviews how the school is performing in relation to several defined themes. Examples of these themes are: vision, leadership, student support, student achievement, and school climate. Santa Cruz High School completed its Six-Year Self-Study Report.
