General:       

  • If you failed a class for need to bring your grade up for a 4 year college, please make an appointment to see your counselor.  
  • Hey gardeners, folks who like being outside, foodies, and people interested in local and sustainable agriculture, there is a new garden club starting at Santa Cruz High. Maybe you have noticed the school garden down by the softball field. Maybe you've noticed its potential, but you've probably also noticed it needs some love. Come to our first garden club meeting on Thursday May 16th at lunch in Ms. Falls' room, room 22. Help us plan a big garden work day that is happening on May 22.
  • Black Graduation will be held on Saturday, June 1st at Santa Cruz HHigfhgkdkHigh. If you are a graduating black student and would like to participate, please see Lauren in the main for a flyer to RSVP.  You must RSVP by May 17th.
  • Still need a summer job?  Sun Shops is hiring and will be outside counseling office this Wednesday, May 15th, at break.  Stop by and check it out.  They will be hiring on the spot.
  • Are you interested in being a representative of your school and peers? Want to learn more about local government entities?  Looking for the opportunity to share your voice with school district leadership? Then apply to be a Student Board Representative.  Pick up an application with Kathy in the main office.
  • Need a yearbook?  They are still for sale in the finance office at lunch or break. Cost $90. There are 29 yearbooks left.  Don’t wait!
  • Minimum Day this Wednesday.

ASB:

  • Seniors! Please stop by ASB on Thursdays or Fridays to purchase your senior breakfast ticket for just $5. Your senior breakfast will take place on June 7th between 8-9:30 am at the Louden Nelson Center.
  • Prom is this Saturday! If you are attending, but sure to get to school by 4 pm. Don’t miss the boat!

Clubs: The following clubs meet today during lunch.

  • Women’s Equality in room 74.
  • Math in room 11.

Seniors:

  • All work for Cyber High credit recovery must be completed by May 17th.
