  • The PSAT 9 will be offered to Freshmen students. The test is $20.00. Cash or checks made payable to Santa Cruz High School. Students can order their test in the Finance Office on break or lunch only. Seats are limited and will be filled on a first come first serve basis.  PSAT 10 is sold out.
  • AP Test are on sale NOW in the main office! Current tests are on sale until February 28th! Don't miss your chance to order your test. See Lauren for information on the price of each exam.
  • The Santa Cruz County Office of Education is sponsoring an art contest for the 2020 Census. If you are interested in participating, see Kathy in the main office for more information.
  • Interested in Cyber Security? Join the Cyber Security Club in the library on Mondays from 3:30 – 4:30 pm. They program is being taught by a Cabrillo College instructor and runs through May 18th. Come check it out.
  • Students interested in mechanical engineering and product design. The counseling office is hosting Damien Golbin from Spanner, a product design firm. Sign up in the counseling office for career pizza lunch on Thurs. Feb. 27th.
  • The Santa Cruz Warriors look forward to hosting local high-school female student-athletes to WISDOM: Women In Sports Dialogue On Mentoring. Bay Area female influencers from the sports and non-profit industries will discuss their successes and challenges in the workplace and share valuable insight into their career paths. Dinner is included! This event is from 5:00-7:00 on Monday, March 9. See Lauren in the Main Office to sign up!
  • Congrats to Mock Trial for winning first place in the county competition last night! Congratulations to the team captains Hannah Grishaw-Jones and Grace Trenholme if you see them around today!


  • A Representative from UCSC will be in the counseling office on February 26th at 12:30 pm. Come to counseling for a pass.
  • Check the Scholarship deadline calendar on the Santa Cruz High School website regularly! New scholarships are posted often!
  • Stop by Lauren’s desk in the Main Office to check the spelling of your name for your diploma!


  • She Is Beautiful Run volunteers needed for March 21st.  See Ms. R-K in room 61 if interested. Your club can earn $500 for volunteering.

    Clubs: The following clubs meet at lunch:

  • Literary Society in the Library.


  • Girls basketball CCS home game, tonight, 7:00pm. Girls Varsity team placed 3rd overall in CCS Academic award. Coach Trowbridge is very proud of them for both making into CCS, but more so keeping their grades up and winning the academic award as well.
  • Boys basketball CCS home game, Tuesday, February 25 at 7:00pm.
  • Boys and girls wrestling championships begin tomorrow, February 21.
    • We wish them all luck as they continue in their tournaments.
  • Softball early out at 1:45.

Please avoid the hill from the Gym to the Quad due to tree work.
