General:   

  • American Sign Language (ASL) classes starting at Harbor for semester 2.  Meets Tues & Thurs from 3:15 to 5:45. Earn 10 credits through Cabrillo Dual Enrollment. See your counselor if interested.
  • Students, we need you to keep the ramp behind the cafeteria clear of bicycles. Please do not park on the inside of the ramp, or block the ramp or stairs in any way.

    Clubs:

  • Cardinal Club in room 42.
  • French in room 72.
  • Cooking in room 18. 

    Seniors:

  • Cyber High Seniors: There are 23 days left until the end of the semester. All semester 1 work must be completed by then. Cabrillo Honors program will be at SCHS on Tuesday December 3rd at 11:00AM in the counseling office. For a pass or more information, come to the counseling office. 
  • Santa Cruz High School General Scholarship is available in the main office.  See Lauren for an application.
You need to pick your senior picture for the yearbook by December 2nd or yearbook will choose for you. You should have received a code from Lifetouch.  If you can’t find you code come to room 62 4th period

  • SENIORS IN CYBER HIGH. Please turn in weekly work and meet with the teacher. If you cannot meet with the teacher, please turn in your weekly work to your counselor. Several students are being dropped from this program due to not attending. Don't let this happen to you!

  • All JV Football Players: All your equipment needs to be turned in by today. Please wash all your cloth and return everything in your travel bag.

  • Women’s Honor Society is taking donations of new socks, tea, and books in the counseling office to make post-surgery care packages for Walnut Avenue Family and Women’s Center.
  • Road closure on California from Laurel to Rigg Streets will also continue all of next week.

  • Josten’s will be on campus today to take cap and gown orders. See Lauren if you have questions.

Seniors:

  • Senior who are in credit recovery through Cyber High School must turn in work weekly, spots are limited and someone is waiting for your spot.All work must be completed by the end of semester 1. 

    Sports:

  • Monday and Tuesday girls’ basketball tryouts 5 pm to 7:30 pm. Meet on the track and bring shoes to run on the track and in the gym.
  • Boys’ basketball 3:30 to 5:30 today in the gym.
  • Fall Sports Tryouts: Wresting practice boys and girls 3:30 today. Girls’ soccer, check in at 6 pm, tryouts begin at 6:30 on the field. Boys’ soccer tryouts tomorrow, check in at 6 pm, tryouts begin at 6:30 on the field.
