  • Don’t forget to purchase your parking pass in the finance office at lunch.  City of Santa Cruz is issuing parking tickets in both the residential and school zone.  
  • Student ID cards are available to be picked up at break and lunch only from Lauren in the main office.
  • Santa Cruz High students you are competing amongst your classes for homecoming. You can accumulate points by participating in spirit days, lunch time activities, floats, canned food, and decorating your hallways. Themes, Seniors-Up, Juniors-Little Mermaid, Sophomores-Mickey & Minnie, Freshmen-Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
  • Homecoming Spirit dress up days. Monday-Sleeping Beauty, PJ Day, Tuesday-Tweedle Dee-Tweedle Dum, Twin Day, Wednesday-101 Dalmatians, Freshmen/Sophmores wear white, Juniors/Seniors wear Black, Staff Black/White, Thursday-Class Movies, Freshmen-Snow White, Sophmores-Minnie & Mickey, Juniors-Little Mermaid, Seniors-Up, Friday-Everyone ear Cardinal Pride.
  • Today at lunch, Sophmores go to Mr. K’s, room 11. For homecoming planning meeting.
  • Calling all creative writers: Word Lab is open for enrollment! Word Lab is an after-school writing center at the Museum of Art & History. Attendance is free for accepted applicants. Word Lab meetings are Wednesdays from 3:30 – 5:30 pm at the Museum of Art & History downtown. If interested in signing up, please talk to Veronica Zaleha in the library.
  • Want to get involved with the fall play? Applications are available in room 88 for anyone interested in costumes, sets, lights, sound, publicity, and /or working back stage. Applications due by next Tuesday at lunch.
  • PEER tutoring has started. Monday – Friday in the library. Before school 7:30 – 7:55, Lunch 11:20 to 12:00, during 4th period 1:45 – 3:15 pm.
  • Don’t forget to serve your lunch detention today at 11:25 in the choir room, 56. Missed lunch detentions become Saturday Schools, so don’t miss.
College Rep Visits:
  • NROTC Scholarship Presentation, tomorrow at 9:45 am.
  • Come to counseling for a pass to attend and check for other upcoming visits.
